Yes by God the Word is ENDING ...



No not from invaders from outer space or melting ice caps, not even from Chinese drywall. Christian LaCroix declared bankruptcy while the world slept.

It was Edina Monsoon of Ab Fab who made the term, "It's LaCroix, sweetie", something that rolled over all our lips in the 90's; and, we all take notice. I guess I'll just go ride my bike an extra half hour in honor of him. Church is so silly; all that room and no guests. I'll wear black today, though; Edina would do the same

No, Muslims don’t believe that Jesus was the messiah.

Think of it like a movie. The Torah is the first one, and the New Testament is the sequel. Then the Qu’ran comes out and it retcons the last one like it never happened. There’s still Jesus, but he’s not the main character anymore, and the messiah hasn’t shown up yet.

Jews like the first movie but ignore the sequels. Christians think you need to watch the first two, but the third one doesn’t count. Muslims think the third flick was the best, and Mormons liked the second one so much they started writing fan faction that doesn’t fit with ANY of the series canon.

I just found out about the big yacht that was here in March - She is the Tatoosh and belongs to Paul Allen of Microsoft (this is his 'smaller' yacht, his main boat is the Octopus which is 100' longer) I wonder if he came in the Apple store for an Ipod?

The General H.S. Vandenberg Part II

I took time this Sunday morning to go check out the Vandenburg for myself - Very busy with workmen all over welding and preparing her for the final trip to the bottom - Looks like they are mostly stripping off loose items and cutting large holes in the sides above the waterline.

Our Flag is flying on the bow....

Ummmm - I have my EYE on some of these doors that they are removing and piling up out on the pier - one would look nice by my pool....

The General H.S. Vandenberg

The Vandenberg is here in Key West now out at the old Submarine Pens - Sometime in early May it is set to be sunk offshore to become the second largest artificial reef.  It has taken 10 years for the project and last year it almost fell thru due to a lack of funds.

I was out on White Street Pier last week on my bike ride and watched them bring her into the harbour.  It's BIG!  Should be a good show for the sinking and a big boost to the Scuba Dive trade once she is in place.....  Although I have a feeling that this is the last I will ever see of her ha ha.
